What: A super-kickass launch party for Marvel vs. Capcom 3: Fate of Two Worlds
When: Saturday, February 19th starting at 2:00PM
Where: University Center Rangos 3

Have you heard? The coolest video game in the history of history is coming out soon! It's called Marvel vs. Capcom 3: Fate of Two Worlds, and it is intense. To celebrate, OGS is hosting a what you might call a launch party. It'll take place on the 19th, in UC Rangos 3 (the gym up on the second floor), and you get bet that it's gonna be an event to remember.

Of course, we're going to have multiple copies of the game running on multiple displays, and about halfway through we're going to run a tournament as well. Since we're OGS and we just love you guys, we're also going to be hosting a raffle filled with MvC3 goodies (things to hang on your wall, things to read, things to download, etc), and as always, you've gotta RSVP for a free entry ticket. You can also snag tickets by bringing setups for the game (especially setups complete with a monitor) and for placing well in the tournament. In our latest e-mail, we mentioned that we'd have a copy or two of the offical MvC3 Strategy Guide available as prizes at the event. I've received a couple of questions about this before, and I just got a PM asking me why it's so "highly reviewed". Now, I'm never one to ignore a PM, so I've linked an exquisite preview of the guide I found on SRK. It contains excerpts of the Ryu and Wolverine character-specific sections of the guide. As you can see, they've got everything from basic game plan to frame data to x-factor effects to detailed move analysis to assist breakdowns. The guide is like a gazillion pages long and I have it on good word that the entire thing is pretty s-rank.

Unfortunately the mvc3 strategy guides are on back order due to the crazy demand, and requires 1-3 weeks for delivery. But don't worry! We got more than enough goodies that you'll love to have your hands on! I'm tempted to just claim myself the winner for all of them right now.
