LOL wtvr tho i find Terran easier to beat as toss than zerg. PVT is not imba just ZVT. after the pack im calling mutas as the OP fruit of the month. thats just my prediction tho and what do i know

Speedling > muta is just the corner terran has zerg backed into right now. Highlights their usefulness.

There's def way more protoss players if you look at the sign up list. Just no one plays zerg. 
I found a nice website where you can find player's ranks according to the bnet ladder. here's most of the players who've signed up:

I know sign-ups end the 20th, but when will the first round begin?
On a related note, if you're looking for good custom maps for 1v1 play, search for "iccup" on the map list. There are a few BW remakes and a lot of new maps, and they're all pretty good.

First round will begin the following day. You'll have a full week to play your matches, though, so don't worry about being pressured for time.
Interestingly, the patch is coming that day as well. It might be a good idea to wait until the weekend to play your match so that you can test out the changes and reevaluate your strategies on ladder.

Well I agree with the sentiment that one week rounds are best for scheduling. But if part of the tournament needs to be sped up, it would probably be best to do the last couple rounds, when it will effect the least people.
