CMU hosted Duquesne weeklies this week and ran a small low tier tournament.

Click here for results and videos.

Shoutout to the CMU smashers that participated. Ting, Cobalt, Sexy, Kevjumba, Emma Watson's Boyfriend, Pika, HeyNivek, and of course, myself.

These guys deserve two shoutouts, not just one! They represented the CMU smash community, and did pretty well for themselves to boot! HeyNivek and Sexy took second and third place, respectively, but our entire slew of reps deserve kudos for showing everybody who's boss.

Duquesne University Weeklies is a weekly Smash Bros. Melee tournament held at DU, frequented by a number of students (including ours) and a few Pittsburgers. You can find more info about it by following the link over to Exetus's post in the Events and Announcements section of our forums.

Next time... Single elimination and 2/3 finals.

Also 3-stock and 4-minute time limit.

But I'm definitely picking up some Pikachu.

Isn't low tier so much more fun than high tier? There's room to experiment and pull off some impressive stuff because not many people have seen good low tiers.
