Welcome to the OGS forums! These forums were created to experience and better CMU's gaming environment. This is a place where we can all communicate and get to know each other, to be connected with other players on campus, and to get to play people other than your room mate and floor mates.
OGS will be hosting tournaments shortly throughout the year (there will be prizes), and will post the results on this forum. Hopefully, we will be recording most of the events as well. Don't be afraid to host your own tournaments, whether it be private or open to all of CMU. Gaming weeklies/biweeklies are more than encouraged! Super Smash Brothers Melee currently has weeklies every Friday over at Duquesne University with Melee enthusiasts from all over Pittsburgh, and it would be great to have this sort of thing going on with other games. So don't be afraid to start reaching out to the community!
So a little about OGS: We are an organization dedicated to playing games, both online and console. Our future goals include a dedicated ladder board/rankings for most competitive and popular games, to get footage of all our events up for sharing, and simply to help everyone that wishes so to become a better player. If there is a tournament you wish to see, don't be afraid to ask for one, as we hold events based off of popular demand. We hope to see you all at our events!
