It's a little bit short notice, but OGS's final event of the school year is here! To honor all of our graduating seniors, many of whom are kind of a big deal when it comes to SSBM, we're hosting not one, but two Melee tournaments. One right after the other. We'll also be getting our seniors to sign something nice, to remember them forever. It'll be really touching, I promise.
As is usual for these big events, we'll have a raffle for prizes, and doing well in the tournaments will net you more raffle tickets. As is becoming usual for these big events, you must pre-register right here (just post) if you want to be able to receive raffle tickets.
Finally, I'd like to note that this is your last chance to be the boss and help to run OGS next year. Although the actual be-the-boss meeting has already happened, we're still looking for interested candidates to be officers in the club next year.
So bring your Gamecube controllers, and bring your fighting spirit. The tournament will be intense, the prizes will be sweet (and will take the form of internet-money like Microsoft Points and Nintendo Dollars). Let's give the seniors a good send off!

Stage Striking will be in effect for the first match of the set. The player with the lower port will get to choose the first strike.
One ban per player per set. To be chosen after loss.
Modified DSR: You cannot go back to the last stage you won in a set, unless agreed upon by the other player.
The player choice clause!:: If both players agree to a rule outside of any ruleset, feel free to play by that. If one player wants to counterpick Mute City and the other player is fine with that because they think it's a fair stage, then that is more than fine. However in the event the two players disagree, house rules stand.
The competition is over and the results have been posted!
