The Cataclysm is over, and the OGS forums have undergone a rather dramatic restructuring. But what's different now?
Old-timers will immediately notice that their posts probably aren't where they left them. One of the key principle of the redesign was to increase the visibility of all information on the boards, and so, the entire place has been compressed down to 3 useful sections, rather than the dozen near-empty sections we've had before. Rest assured that no information was lost in transition, all of the old posts are intact an in-place.
In some cases, the thread may have been retitled. This is mainly for threads that have been moved to the Events and Announcements section of our boards. These topics have been slightly modified in order to comply with thar section's guidelines. They have also been transformed to Events, so as to show up on our Calendar.
New members probably don't care about how much things have changed, they just wanna start posting! We encourage those who want to know more about OGS and what we do to read our welcome thread, created by none other than our own Tournament Organizer, Anonalbe. Every new account is greeted with a welcome message which you can find in your message inbox. Give it a read, as it explains some of our less evident protocols (did you know you can't create new topics until you've made at least 2 posts?) and provides a jumping-off point to some of the more popular forum destinations.
